Exterior Detailing
 
Pressure Wash (Power Wash): A pressure wash is the first step in the car detailing process. Using a motor and a supply of demineralized water that we provide (to reduce water spots), a high-pressure stream of water is sprayed onto the exterior of the car, truck, or RV and removes dust, pollen, dirt, and grime from your sweet ride! We especially take good measure to pressure wash all cracks of the exterior of your vehicle, which is where most junk debris accumulate. Our detailers also pay special attention to flaking areas when pressure washing so as to not remove any paint or cause further damage. Degreaser Rinse: A degreaser rinse may be needed to break up and loosen heavy amounts of tar, bird droppings, dirt, other contaminants a normal shampooing will take time to remove. We first use a sheeting method which is a process involving using a continuous stream of water to gather stray droplets and remove them from the paint of the car, truck, or RV. Next we use a blower to prevent dripping in common areas such as panel gaps, lug nuts, glass and between mirrors, which can be problematic in further detailing steps. Then a drying towel is applied to remove any remaining water droplets.
 

Claying: (Not available at this time) A Clay bar is used to remove any fine contaminants that are still embedded in your car, truck, or RV’s paint after a thorough pressure​ wash, shampoo, and drying have been completed. We will go over the exterior paint of your vehicle using as much clay as needed, plus a special lubricant to allow easier gliding of the bar, with extra caution to not cause any scratching using the clay.

During this step, imperfections in the clear coat of paint such as scratches, swirls, water spots, and oxidation are removed.
